*#1 (Exemption from Income Requirement)

① If the couple has a child

② If the couple has been living abroad for over a year from the visa application date and has no domestic income in the last year

③ If the foreign spouse has previously stayed in Korea under a marriage immigrant (F-6) status (excludes cases where the spouse has changed or even if it's the same spouse but the marriage has been interrupted).

① For those who fall under 1, you should submit a family relationship certificate under the name of the child (birth certificate if born before marriage and before acquiring nationality).

② For those who fall under 2, you should submit documents proving cohabitation.

* #2 (Business Income Notice 1)

Business income is generally determined based on the amount listed in the National Tax Service income amount certificate. If your actual income is more than the amount on the income amount certificate, it may be considered underreporting of income, so you should report corrections to the tax office and submit the modified income amount certificate.

*#3 (Business Income Notice 2)

Principally, you should submit income-related materials from one year before the application date. However, for business income, income declaration takes place in May of the following year. Taking this into account, if the most recent year's income on the income amount certificate meets the set income requirements, and the Korean spouse continues the same business, exceptions are recognized even if it's not the income from one year before the application date. (However, an investigation may be conducted depending on the case.)

*#4 (The range of family members who can supplement income requirements)

Only direct family members who share the same household as the Korean spouse on the resident registration form (parents, grandparents, children, etc.) or the invited marriage immigrant can supplement the income requirements. Direct family members who do not share the same household on the resident registration form cannot supplement the income requirements, and siblings are not considered direct family members, so they also cannot supplement the income requirements.

*#1 (Exemption from Communication Requirement)

① If the couple has a child

② If the foreign spouse has previously stayed in Korea under a marriage immigrant (F-6) status (excludes cases where the spouse has changed or even if it's the same spouse but the marriage has been interrupted), the submission of communication-related documents is exempted.

*#2 (Other Communication Capability Proof Documents)

A Korean spouse or a foreign spouse can be recognized as meeting the communication requirement in the following cases:

① If they submit a score from a language proficiency test of a certain level or higher.

② If they pass an interview conducted in the relevant language at the embassy.

* #1 (Housing Requirement)

The residence submitted as a housing requirement must be owned or rented in the name of the Korean spouse or the Korean spouse's direct family, brothers, or sisters. If it's owned or rented under the name of a third party, it is generally judged as not satisfying the housing requirement. However, exceptions are made if it's a place that can be socially recognized, such as a company-provided house.
