F3 Visa (F-3-17) Eligibility
▶ Spouse of an E-7-4 visa holder and minor children (no spouse) of an E-7-4 visa holder
※ Accompanying family members of E-7-4 visa holders cannot enter Korea on a short-term visa (C-3) and then change to an F-3 visa within Korea. They must apply for the F-3-17 visa at the local Korean embassy or consulate
※ Family members of F-2-R visa holders cannot be invited under the F-3 visa. They must enter Korea on a short-term visa (C-3) and then apply for a change to F-3-1R status within Korea

F3 Visa (F-3-17) Required Documents
▶ The required documents may slightly differ by embassy or consulate, but the basic documents are as follows
1. Documents prepared by the inviter (E-7-4 worker in Korea)
① Invitation letter (including details of the invitation, purpose of visit, living expenses, etc.)
② Letter of identification guarantee
③ Copy of the alien registration card (front/back)
④ Proof of residence
- Lease contract or certified copy of real estate registry if owned
- If under another person’s name, provide accommodation provision confirmation letter and the provider’s ID copy
⑤ Employment-related documents (certificate of employment, business registration, etc.)
⑥ Financial documents (bank transaction statement including salary details for the past 6 months)
2. Documents prepared by the invitee (to be prepared locally)
① Visa application form (passport-size photo attached)
② Original and copy of the passport
③ Tuberculosis test certificate (issued by the embassy-designated hospital)
④ Original and copy of the marriage certificate
⑤ Original and copy of the family relationship certificate
⑥ Flight ticket
※ If the documents are not in English, they must be translated into English and notarized
